Updated over a week ago

The Accessories Approved Vendor List (AVL) defines all air quality and system accessories that are approved for installation with LightReach Confort Plans.

Accessories included in this AVL have been evaluated based on compatibility, reliability, and warranty alignment with LightReach’s approved HVAC systems. These products enhance comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality while maintaining manufacturer warranty integrity.

Certified Installers must ensure that all accessories installed are included in this AVL. Installation of non-AVL accessories may result in warranty limitations or project rejection.

Air Filtration & Purification

An air cleaner, also known as an air purifier, is a device that removes contaminants from the air to improve indoor air quality. These devices are often used to help people with allergies or asthma, or to reduce secondhand smoke. They work by using a fan to pull air into the unit, where it passes through a filter to trap unwanted particles before the cleaned air is circulated back into the room.

Electronic Air Cleaners

Unlike traditional air filters that rely solely on a mesh or media to physically trap particles, an EAC uses an electrical charge to capture microscopic airborne contaminants.

UV System

A UV system uses ultraviolet light to disinfect water, air, and surfaces by destroying the DNA of microorganisms, making them unable to reproduce and cause illness. This is a chemical-free method of sterilization.

Bypass/Fan Powered Humidifier

A bypass humidifier is a type of whole-house humidifier that works with your HVAC system to add moisture to the air. It gets its name because it uses a "bypass" duct to divert a portion of the warm air from the furnace, pass it through the humidifier, and then reintroduce it into the main ductwork.

Dehumidification

A whole-home dehumidification system is an air quality device that is integrated directly with your central HVAC system to remove excess moisture from the air in your entire house.

Zone Systems

An HVAC zoning system (or zoned HVAC) is a heating and cooling setup that divides a home or building into multiple independently controlled temperature areas, or zones. Unlike a traditional single-thermostat system that treats the entire structure as one area, zoning allows you to set and maintain different temperatures in different parts of your home, such as the upstairs, downstairs, or an infrequently used room.
